Delivery Pricing & In-Home Services

Standard Delivery Rates

Current curbside delivery rates are:

  • Up to 5 miles away from our warehouse: $49
  • Up to 15 miles away: $79
  • Up to 35 miles away: $129
  • Up to 50 miles away: $179
  • Over 50+ miles? Please contact us for a custom delivery quote. 

In-Home Delivery Options

We offer in home delivery and placement starting at $49 depending on access, stairs, and complexity. These fees are quoted separately and added to your delivery total when applicable.

In home delivery must be confirmed in advance and requires signing a Release of Liability.

Please contact us prior to delivery to request in-home service so we can ensure availability and provide a quote.

Local Delivery Policy

Local Delivery

Mile High Furniture offers local delivery only within the Colorado area. Delivery is available by appointment and scheduled after full payment is received.

Deliveries are available Thursday through Sunday. Once your order is placed, we’ll work with you to schedule a delivery time that fits your schedule within those days. Delivery fees vary based on distance and complexity and will be clearly stated prior to scheduling.

Delivery Requirements

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the item(s) will fit through all access points, including stairwells, doorways, hallways, elevators, or any other potential restrictions.

If your building requires elevator reservations, gate codes, or HOA delivery forms, please ensure these are arranged in advance. Missed deliveries due to access restrictions will result in a retained delivery fee.

In multi-unit buildings, deliveries are made to the customer’s individual unit. Mile High Furniture is not responsible for damage to shared hallways, lobbies, or delays caused by building access issues.

Our delivery vehicles require legal parking and reasonable access to the property. We are not responsible for delays or inability to complete delivery due to parking restrictions, HOA rules, or blocked driveways.

We strongly recommend measuring your space and access areas before purchasing. If you’re unsure, we’re happy to help guide you through what to check.

Failed Deliveries or Missed Deliveries

If furniture cannot be delivered due to size or access limitations:

  • The delivery fee will be retained
  • The purchase price will be refunded
  • Exchanges require a new delivery fee

If delivery cannot be completed because the customer is not present, unreachable, or unprepared, the delivery will be canceled and a new delivery fee will apply to reschedule.

If a customer refuses curbside delivery after arrival, the delivery fee will still be retained.

If furniture is placed curbside and later determined not to fit inside, the sale remains final and delivery fees are non refundable.

Additional Delivery Charges

Additional charges may apply for stairs-only access, tight entryways, limited parking, or long-distance carry-ins. These will be communicated and agreed upon before delivery is scheduled.

Oversized or unusually shaped furniture may require additional labor, disassembly, or specialized handling. These items may incur additional charges and must be discussed prior to delivery.

Delivery Expectations & Delays

Delivery windows are estimates. Delays may occur due to weather, traffic, or other unforeseen circumstances. Mile High Furniture is not responsible for any inconvenience or costs resulting from delivery delays. We will always communicate promptly if there are any changes to your scheduled time.

We reserve the right to refuse delivery if pathways, driveways, or stairs are unsafe due to snow, ice, mud, or other hazards. Customers must ensure a safe, accessible route to the delivery location.

We are not responsible for delays or cancellations due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, vehicle breakdowns, road closures, or civil disturbances.

Our team provides basic placement of furniture in the room of your choice. However, certain room placements may incur an additional fee depending on the complexity, access difficulty, or time required. Assembly services (if needed) are not included unless previously arranged and agreed upon.

We offer haul-away or disposal services for old furniture if confirmed prior to delivery. Additional fees may apply depending on location, access, or the size and condition of the item.

Haul-away service is limited to the same level of service selected for delivery.
If curbside delivery is selected, the old item must be placed outside or at the curb prior to our arrival.

If the old item is still inside the home and in-home delivery was not selected, our team will not enter the residence. The customer may request to upgrade to in-home service at that time, subject to availability, additional fees, and completion of our liability waiver.

If a customer needs to reschedule a confirmed delivery or pickup, at least 2 hours’ notice is required. Changes made within 2 hours may be subject to a rescheduling fee.

We reserve the right to refuse delivery if conditions at the location are unsafe, inaccessible, or significantly different from what was described. In such cases, the delivery fee will be retained.

We may take photos of the delivered item for our records and promotional purposes. No identifying personal information or customer likeness will be shared without consent.

In-Home Delivery Liability

For any in-home delivery, customers must sign a Release of Liability Form before the item is brought inside. This can be completed digitally, or in person if a digital signature is not possible. This form is required to protect both parties.

While our team takes great care during delivery, Mile High Furniture is not responsible for any damage to property such as walls, floors, staircases, or doorways. We are also not liable for any damage to other personal belongings (e.g., lamps, décor, appliances) during delivery.

We do not remove furniture that is excessively soiled, infested, or majorly structurally compromised. If such items are presented for haul-away, our team may decline the service upon arrival.
If haul-away is declined on-site, the fee may be waived or partially refunded depending on the circumstances and condition of the item.

Item Damage Responsibility

If an item is damaged by our team during delivery or handling, we will assess the situation and take reasonable steps to make it right — which may include repair, replacement, or a partial refund, depending on the extent of the damage and circumstances.
To be eligible for resolution, any damage caused during delivery must be reported within 24 hours of delivery or pickup, in line with our Customer Responsibility & Final Acceptance policy. We may request photos or documentation to evaluate the issue.

Pickup Option

Customers are welcome to pick up their items from our warehouse. At this time, pickups are available by appointment or during posted open hours. Pickup orders must be paid in full on-site prior to loading. Payment must be completed before the item is moved or placed outside.

We offer assistance with loading as a courtesy; however, once an item exits past our front door or garage doors, full responsibility transfers to the customer.

Mile High Furniture is not liable for any damage to customer vehicles, personal injury, or product damage that may occur during or after the loading process — even if our team assisted with securing the item. Customers are responsible for inspecting and approving their load before departure.

Please arrive with appropriate transportation, tie-downs, and any additional help you may need. While our team may assist with loading and securing items as a courtesy, customers are ultimately responsible for ensuring their load is safe and secure before leaving the premises.

Customer Responsibility & Final Acceptance

Customers are responsible for inspecting their item(s) upon delivery or pickup. Once the item is in their possession, Mile High Furniture is not liable for cosmetic or physical damage claims.

Our team may take delivery or pickup photos for documentation purposes. These photos confirm the condition and placement of the item at the time it leaves our care.

We communicate updates via text, email, or phone using the contact information provided. It is the customer’s responsibility to respond in a timely manner and be available at the scheduled delivery time.

Any claims regarding delivery damage, product condition, or service issues must be reported within 24 hours of delivery or pickup. Claims submitted after this window may not be honored.

  • If a customer refuses or declines curbside delivery — whether immediately, after inspecting the item, or upon realizing it won’t fit through doorways, stairs, hallways, or other access points — the delivery fee will still be retained.
  • If the furniture is dropped off curbside and the customer later realizes it does not fit inside, the sale remains final and the delivery fee is non-refundable.
  • It is the customer’s responsibility to review all listed dimensions and confirm access prior to delivery being scheduled.

Holding & Storage

We do not offer long-term storage. Items must be picked up or scheduled for delivery within 7 days of purchase or deposit unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

If we cannot reach the customer and no arrangements are made within the 7-day period, the deposit will be forfeited and the item may be relisted for sale.

Returns & Exchanges

All sales are final. We do not offer returns or exchanges unless otherwise stated in writing at time of purchase.

Payment Terms
All deliveries must be paid in full before our team departs for delivery.

In rare cases, if a customer is approved to pay upon delivery, the delivery fee must still be paid in advance to secure the time slot.

If full payment is not received at the time of delivery, the appointment will be canceled, and the delivery fee will not be refunded.
